It gives me great pleasure to share with you another picture of my friend Jeff Guidry and Freedom. 

On The Road Again

Sunset Driving 70+ MPH Toward Texas

Friday night Bulldog Man, Tank and I drove down to Texas to check on my Dad, and help clear / clean up damage from the last storm that blew through.  Several trees fell down over the rear fence on my parent’s property.  Bulldog Man loaded our truck up with his tools and chain saw.  Come Saturday morning, Bulldog Man, and I cut the trees into pieces and stacked the wood against the back fence for future burning.

Afterwards we headed to the rehabilitative hospital in Ft. Worth to have lunch with my Dad.  The Texas Rehabilitative Hospital is training Dad how to walk, move, bend down and get up without hurting himself because he has all of this hardware surgically implanted in his lower back.  After Dad comes home, he will be meeting with the Orthopedic Oncologist, and his Internist to determine the next steps in his medical plan. 

Sunday morning before heading back home to Oklahoma, we stopped by the hospital to visit and say good bye.

Monday was Bulldog Man’s Birthday, Tank and I took him to the casino and celebrated his birthday with a nice dinner, and a little cash to play the slot machines.  Bulldog Man ended up not winning a thing but had a great time.  Our son, Tank came back winning $275.00.  We made our dinner an early dinner because we really didn’t want to be out on the roads with the weather changing, and the drunk drivers on the road.  We celebrated our New Year’s by going to bed early, and sleeping in the next day.  Yay, 2013 has rolled in, now we get to look forward to preparing our taxes L

Tuesday, Bulldog Man and I needed to get some groceries; being out of town we hadn’t a chance to get groceries.  I really wanted to try this recipe I found on the computer for enchiladas and I needed a few things.
