Do You Know My Name?

The last time we went on a ride to scope out a park for camping, we went down this street and this adorable bird landed on the street sign.  Does anyone know what type of bird this is?  The location of this bird was the northwestern part of Oklahoma. My first thought, a male Cardinal but my husband disagrees with me.

Grab - N- Go

I know you have prepared all the items needed in case you have an emergency and need to hunker down or bug out.  But have you considered your legal documents (birth certificates, social security cards, divorce decrees, marriage license, insurance, deeds, inventory of goods at home), cash, credit cards, wills, checkbook, photo’s and jewelry?  Small items that may have sentimental value, that can’t be replaced?  Do you have these items in one particular place in your home for easy and fast access?    If an emergency occurs, you don’t want to have to go rummaging through a desk, file cabinet, drawers or rooms in your house to find legal necessities.  Have you considered a container to hold these items?  A container you can just pickup, place in your vehicle, safe room and go?  Why not? You make sure you and your family is prepared for other things like water, food, first aid, protection, communication source, lighting, clothing, sanitary needs and a place to stay.  Since moving to Oklahoma 3 years ago, I’ve prepared for tornadoes, fire, floods, gas explosions and earthquakes on top of whatever else may occur.  If you receive a knock on your door by the police, fire officials, or military and was told you must evacuate NOW, would you have to search for those personal items or just grab your Emergency Container and leave?  I would grab my family, emergency container and leave.
Because you’re storing small items, you’re Emergency Container for papers and valuables can be anything you want it to be, including but not limited to:

If you want to get real secure with your items get a safe that is fire and water proof.  Make sure you can carry this safe to a secured, protected location.
