    1. Thank you! I love reading Gail's blog and chatting with her. She's a such great lady. Yes, Kymber from Framboise Manor suggested Sage tea for trouble sleeping and going through the change. So I thought, I would give it a shot. Tonight will be the first night. Take a couple of fresh sage leaves and bruise the leaves with your fingers, place in cup and poor boiling water on them. Leave the water and leaves to steep for 5 minutes and drink. Tasty, I must say. I imagine doing this for several nights will make a difference.

  4. Sandy - after you have been taking the tea for a few days - we'll need an update on if it is working, how you feel, if you are sleeping well, etc.

honest to goodness - i swear by the stuff. and just fyi - jam and i have a tea made of a sage leaf, a mint leaf, a lemon balm leaf, a few chammomile flowers, a dollop of honey and apple cider vinegar (with the mother) every morning. it is a wonderful tonic that helps clear out the digestive system, the nervous system and the cardio-vascular system. it is a wonderful way to start the day and it really puts you in a positive frame of mind, makes you feel strong and healthy and makes you want to get working - we love having that in the morning!

    your friend,
    kymber

    1. Kymbar- I tried the sage tea last night (is was nice) and plan on continuing it through the week and I will give you updates later on how things are for sleeping and hot flashes. All the natural herbs make for great teas. I will have to try your recipe for morning tea the next time I get to the health store (this way I can pickup some of the herbs). Have a great evening my friend and we will chat later.
