It's been awhile since I told you how much I enjoy your pictures. Hope you are having a great day! the rat
ReplyDeleteRat, Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your comments.
DeleteWhat a difference a few hours makes.
ReplyDeleteThe weather changes every 15 minutes in this part of Oklahoma.
DeleteIt hasn't snowed here yet! Beans is a hoot!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you won't get the snow? Yes, Beans is very unique and we love him. He tries to let us know who's boss (tries).
DeleteI too love the pictures of trees standing by themselves. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's as if the tree has a story to tell you.
DeleteWish you hadn't post the gas prices...ugh. Ours went up almost 18c in one week. We are now 9c cheaper than the sign, for now. Hmmmph
ReplyDeleteWe had a dusting of snow also, bit peculiar since I am in Arizona but it didn't stay around.
Every day here gas has been going up several cents a day.
DeleteIt started raining, then snowing, then back to raining and now it's snowing and the temperature is dropping.
Love the photo's Sandy. We haven't had any snow since the late 80's here which is a good thing. No one in the south can drive in the white stuff!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I love taking pictures.
DeleteThey can't drive here either, lol....
Sweet Sandy - i always love all of your pictures but that beans and bug are to die for - what awesome little guys - bahahahahah!
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
kymber
Sweet Kymber,

Beans is the boss, lol
Bug is in the middle of everything, she's more like a busy body, lol
Luv the pictures Sandy. Where is the Indian Grass Sculpture? I have seen and taken photos of Sculptures on 677 just south of Saint Jo. TX.. Have you seen those? Have a great evening. ~Hugs~
ReplyDeleteCherie,
DeleteThanks, the Indian Grass Sculpture is in Norman, OK on East Main. In Oklahoma City, there are several steel sculptures that are amazing. The Skydance Bridge is not to old, here's what she looks like

Oklahoma has some really nice sculptures, so does Texas. I haven't been on 677 south of Saint Jo, TX. It sounds like an area to go check out.
I tried to e-mail you to let you know the package was sent out, expected delivery Feb 14th. Your e-mail had a no reply. I had to bend the card board package to get it to fit. The post office at the time I was mailing your give-away to you didn't have the larger box I wanted. If you would like the tracking number, please e-mail me. Thanks!
woops - tell bug that i am sorry to have called her a guy! teehee!
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
kymber
Sweet Kymber,
DeleteShe doesn't care if you call her a guy or gal as long as you pet her and give her treats.
I'm still laughing. The very first picture of Beans, and I'm thinking "She has a gray pig?"
ReplyDeleteOMG
Lotta Joy,
DeleteHe does look like a gray pig if you look fast at the picture. He's a rescued over weight Chihauhau with a great personality. His actual color is called silver. I believe when we went to see if we wanted to take him home to be a pet, he chose us.
Sandy, I really enjoyed these random shots.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your gas is 10 cents higher than ours....I haven't checked today though; we may have caught up.
Glenda,
DeleteThank you, I love just taking pictures.
Our gas went up again today 2 more cents grr......
and I have to fill up.
Wow! Really great pictures! We got a cold front and some blowing snow yesterday, but it blew out about as fast as it came in. Sunny, today. Gas prices are crazy again. Your puppies are so cute. Take care !
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Susie
Susie,
DeleteThank you. It's cold here today and sunny.
Gas prices are always going up and down here it just depends on the day. Gas went up 2 cents today.
My pups are crazy, they keep me entertained and I love them.
Enjoy your day,
Sandy
Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteI saw on Kymber's blogroll that you had taken pictures. I love to look at pictures from areas that I've never seen - so here I am. The landscape is quite beautiful with those green fields and country roads. I don't see mountains, so I think the region may be flat much like out prairie provinces here.
Your little puppies are adorable ! I think they'll keep you amused for many years to come.
Have a great weekend !
Hi Helga,
DeleteThe landscape here is praire lands, you will see hills and large rocks out in the western part of Oklahoma.
Oh yes, the puppies keep me very entertained, lol...
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi, Sandy, I've been subscribed here for a while, and wanted to invite you to share your excellent post on water filtration (http://oklahomatransient.blogspot.ca/2012/04/water-filtration.html) at the brand new Preparedness Fair, a blog hop/link party). That post inspired me as I'd never even realized making your own high quality filter like that was even possible, and that was why I subscribed! :) I really hope you'll join the "Fair" here: http://preputilityvehicle.blogspot.ca/2013/02/preparedness-fair-1_15.html
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
Sincerely
Natalia
Natalia,
DeleteThe water filtration system in the post you mentioned, outlines our source and where we borrowed the information for making a gravity fed safe drinking water filtration system. I would love it if you would be so kind to recommend, invite, and offer Mike Yukon of http://livingprepared.blogspot.com/2011/01/gravity-fed-safe-drinking-water-filter.html
this opportunity.
Your Friend,
Sandy
