As requested, here is a picture of our fish
dinner. Nicely dredged in corn meal,
flour, salt and pepper, then fried in canola oil. Complimented with fried new potatoes, and
honey roasted sweet corn with peppers.
OMG….talk about heaven!!!!
Eat your heart out my blogger friends!!!!
and here I sit with a bowl of soup and it's not even homemade. :(
ReplyDeleteMamma Bear,
DeleteGet yourself over here, I have more fish.

Sending hugs and love to you and Jambaloney.
Your Friend,

DeleteOh it smelled really good cooking and tasted out of this world.
Good to see you back and doing better :-)
That looks fabulous!! So glad you enjoyed your fish.....
ReplyDeleteM.E.,
ReplyDeleteI would have used your recipe but my husband really wanted fried fish, and I couldn't turn him down.
It was delicious, I'm ready to go fishing again.
Thanks for the picture, Satan. I will now be dreaming about fish.

ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
WPW,
DeleteIt was a delicious meal, and freshly caught!!
I'm going fishing!
ReplyDeleteGail,
DeleteI so go fishing but wait until it warms up a bit.....at least in the 60's.
We waited the our temperatures to warm from 20's to 60's before going to be comfortable.
Where is my plate? You know you must share good food with all the bloggers.
ReplyDeleteSenior,
DeleteKind of late now, the day after, lol
The next time we go fishing, you, JUGM, and the boys are welcome to come for some fish. We have to wait for this cold weather (zero degrees) to pass again.
I need some grits with that. Heck, you have me craving some good garlic shrimp and grits now... : )
ReplyDeleteJUGM,
DeleteI've never had grits with fish or shrimp, sounds good though :-)
Fresh fish is one food that never seems to fill me up, so I'm betting I could have done real damage to that nice batch you and your hubby managed to come home with.
ReplyDeleteYes, with you being from the Upper Peninsula, I'm sure you have had some experience with ice fishing. Hurts to do it, but isn't the flavor of the fish wonderful?
Mama Pea,
DeleteI guess fresh fish is like eating Chinese food, your hungry after you've finished eating? Actually, the piece I had with some potatoes and honey roasted corn was enough for me.
Yes the flavor of the fish is wonderful as long as you don't freeze to death trying to fish in the cold.
Oh I wish it looks delicious. Hug B
ReplyDeleteB,
DeleteIt was delicious you should have been here, I would of shared fish with you.:-)
