Life on the Strip

While in Nevada, we stayed at Treasure Island, on the strip.  Great hotel! We had everything we could ask for under one roof.  There were approximately 12 to 15 places to eat, so one really didn’t have to venture out to find a restaurant.  Since it was our Anniversary, we decided to go all out on our special day.  We ate at one of the fancy restaurants in the hotel for lunch, played a bit in the casino, walked the strip, and went to an amazing concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Yes, I said we went to a concert.

You want to know who we went to see………

Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano

Bulldog Man and I figured we might as well go all out on our Anniversary and see Elton John, because we probably won’t ever be able to see Elton John again on an Anniversary.

After the concert, we walked back to our hotel room later in the evening, to a bottle of cold champagne compliments of the hotel.  Now everyone knows you don’t drink champagne on an empty stomach.  So we decided to order room service, something not too heavy…we ordered two awesome club sandwiches and only ate half each; we should have ordered just one sandwich…..but that’s okay :-)

Here’s a little video I put together on the strip late in the evening, I hope you enjoy it.

More of our trip to come!
