Are there bears in Las Vegas? Of course there are…….
Only on Fremont Street, inside a store, shopping, or
shall I say ready to eat a human being.
We stopped off on Fremont Street to enjoy the sites,
shop, and gamble a little. Did we win
anything gambling……………NO! And that’s
okay, because we really were there to enjoy the sites and shows more so than to
gamble.

Speaking of sites, any of you watch a program on TV
called the Cake Boss (I don’t watch this show)?
Well while we were in Vegas, we stopped off at the mall next to the
Venetian Hotel and walked through it to see what type of stores were there. We ran into this bakery called Carlos’ Bake
Shop, owned by the Cake Boss himself. We
couldn’t help ourselves, we went in and ordered up a few sweets to eat back at
our hotel, and purchased some cookies, along with an insulated coffee mug to
treat my sister, for dog sitting for us.

Our dog, Beans was spoiled rotten by my sister while
we were gone…..time to reprogram Beans :-)

You look so cute, Sandy , with that bear! It sounds like loads of fun there in Vegas. You will just have to set Beans straight again now that your home.

DeleteYes we were without any worries. We had a blast, and then came home to recuperate.....after all the hiking we did.
What fun! And that's what aunties are for - it takes me weeks to get my crew back in order. Love the picture of you!

It took me a while to get Beans to stop thinking he was going to get a cookie every time he did something. Thank you, the picture is of me being silly.
awww girlie...your so cute!!! what a fun pic. I use to watch Cake Boss all the time, then lost track of all the episodes, I wish I had the talent to create those masterpieces...

DeleteThank you Sweetie :-) It was fun playing around with this big stuffed bear. I wouldn't be doing that with a live bear. I don't really watch Cake Boss, came across advertisement on his show. The cakes in the shop were total masterpieces. In fact, I'm not sure I would eat any of them.
We had a wonderful anniversary away.
That first picture is a hoot! But what a happy looking bear! Looks like you had a fund time. I've only seen some ads for Cake Boss (maybe for a book???) Love the creativity of it but I'm usually more for eating than decorating. :)
