Dear Blogger Friends,
Thank you all for prayers, and kind thoughts. Losing a loved one is never easy; but, we all
know it’s part of the cycle of life. My
sister, Bulldog Man, and I honored Mom’s wishes to be buried with no viewing,
or funeral services with extended family members coming from all over the
place. Mom was laid to rest in a private
graveside burial service next to our Dad at the Dallas Fort Worth National
Cemetery.
FYI, when the Hearse arrived at the cemetery, a
Monarch butterfly flew between the Hearse and our truck, while we waited for
our escort to the grave site. In a
previous post, I talked about Monarch butterflies, and the messages they
deliver. This butterfly flew toward our
truck, and then the Hearse, as if it were relaying a message of love and comfort.
We
love you Mom, miss you always.

Blessings to you and your family, Sandy.

Sweet Sandy - that butterfly was there to comfort you and to tell you that it hurts us when we lose a family member, but our family members pass to the other side where everything is love! i am so proud of your father for serving...and the fact that your mom and he could be buried together with full military honours is just beautiful! you know where i am, Angel, if you need to talk.
