Good Bye

Dear Blogger Friends,
Thank you all for prayers, and kind thoughts.  Losing a loved one is never easy; but, we all know it’s part of the cycle of life.  My sister, Bulldog Man, and I honored Mom’s wishes to be buried with no viewing, or funeral services with extended family members coming from all over the place.  Mom was laid to rest in a private graveside burial service next to our Dad at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

FYI, when the Hearse arrived at the cemetery, a Monarch butterfly flew between the Hearse and our truck, while we waited for our escort to the grave site.  In a previous post, I talked about Monarch butterflies, and the messages they deliver.  This butterfly flew toward our truck, and then the Hearse, as if it were relaying a message of love and comfort.

We love you Mom, miss you always.

  6. Sweet Sandy - that butterfly was there to comfort you and to tell you that it hurts us when we lose a family member, but our family members pass to the other side where everything is love! i am so proud of your father for serving...and the fact that your mom and he could be buried together with full military honours is just beautiful! you know where i am, Angel, if you need to talk.

we both send all of our love to all of you. your friends,

    1. Sweet Kymber,

The Monarch Butterfly that passed was relaying a message. Both Mom and Dad have passed to the other side. Both were honored by the military in a beautiful ceremony. Yes, I know where you and Jam are and will call you.
Sending hugs and love to you both.
      Sandy

We've been real busy dealing with the estate, legalities, and trying to take care of our place at the same time. Thank goodness for adult children, our son Tank and his friends have been helping with our place.
