  1. May this be a sign of what kindness is to come.

  2. WOW. I'm sitting here blubbering like a baby. That was beautiful and moving. It does give me hope for the world. I would have missed that. Thanks for sharing.

Wouldn't a news channel that only played these kinds of stories be great? Just good news? I think the country, indeed the world, could use it. Sigh...

    1. 1st Man,

There is more to this story, this was the short version. Acts of kindness goes very far in this story.

I would love to see more kind acts in our country, and less bad news.

  5. I am bummed too....I could not see it on this computer and watching it from my smart phone makes my eyes go wonky. But I do believe in paying it forward---what comes around goes around, and you never know when that person you help, could in turn help you out.

    1. JUGM,

I'm sorry, I don't know how to make it better so it works on the computer. I've tried reloading it. Go to You Tube and type the name Myles Eckert. You should be able to view this piece there.
      He's an amazing child!!

Like you, I do believe in paying it forward. You never know, one day one of us could need help.

  6. OMGosh Sandy! This made me cry... I loved it!!! Following 1st Man's comment, I told my mother I don't watch news on TV at all! There's so many "good" things happening in this world, but sadly, it doesn't get air time because it just doesn't bring in ratings... so.... I watch the "happy" news that I want to see on the internet instead. Thanks so much for posting this!! It made my day brighter. xoxo

  7. Gammy Tammy,
There's actually more to this story, it's paid forward so much and has helped so many military children.

The news is depressing, the television stations only want you to know certain things when in actuality there's so much more going on in the world. We don't usually watch regular news, we watch European or Japanese news on the off channels.

    1. Sounds like we share the same opinions. After leaving your blog, I visited another one of my favorite blogs and she also posted a "pay it forward" video, (btw... that's one of my all time favorite movies!) so between your video, her video and Granny's situation, I feel like a blubbering baby. Have a wonderful evening Sandy.
