Yes, Blurry just getting the picture of the grass not of Beans. Beans was moving across the grass gingerly. |
Mr. Squirrel ran in front of the camera while taking a picture of the tree. |
Tank's Antenna on his Chevy |
And it’s just beginning! Today is supposed to be worse.
Sandy,
ReplyDeleteStay warm girl. It looks just like your pictures here too. My dang camera is on the fritz but I'm going to try getting some pics too. I'm thinking some hot chocolate is sounding pretty good right now!
Merry Christmas to you, BDM and Tank!
Love and Hugs,
Sci
SCI,
DeleteYou too!!! These picture are just the start of the ice. More coming.
Be safe, stay warm, and have a Merry Christmas.
Love and Hugs,

ReplyDeleteM.E.
DeleteYes in the thick of it. More to come :-)
I hope ya'll don't get this ice, it's miserable.
Merry Christmas.
Ungood - be careful, and don't drive if you don't have to!
ReplyDeleteRev. Paul,
DeleteStop shipping your weather to us, lol.
I must agree, no driving and were being careful :-)
Oh my gosh. With the truck/car door frozen at least you can't be out on the roads. Please stay safe, dry & warm. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteDFW,
DeleteWe will stay warm, safe, and dry. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
Hey Sandy yes it sure is pretty it has been freezing rain here since last night (Friday) and will continue right through till Sunday night meaning about 3 inches by the time we will be done meaning travel is not happening and that does not make me happy as my girls were supposed to come but it sure is pretty. Hopefully the roads will be cleaned up soon on Monday.Take care be safe and warm. Merry Christmas. HUGS B
ReplyDeleteB,
DeleteI hope your girls are able to come home and be with you for the holidays. Merry Christmas, stay warm, and be safe.
It is in the upper 70s here today and tomorrow we will have a record high. The weather across this country is so wonky.
ReplyDeleteI did see on the news that the entire state of OK was actually shut down due to the ice. Is that true?
I hope you guys thaw out, without any major incidents. Stay warm.
JUGM,
DeleteOh how I miss 70 degree weather :P
Yes, the entire state of OK was shut down. Were suppose to get more ice and snow tonight.
We should thaw a little, then come Christmas day.....more snow.
A good chuck of our area was without any power. We were lucky and prepared :-)
Ice everywhere!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too jealous of the warmer climes. When stuff really hits the fan Winter will be the peaceful times :)
PP,
DeleteIt sure is!!!
When the stuff hits the fans, it will be quiet around all who have prepared.
Stay home and stay safe. West Tenn has received 6 inches of rain and more coming.
ReplyDeleteDoubleBhomestead,
DeleteWe stayed home today. We did dress warm and go outside on the property to remove dangerous ice hanging from the roof of the house. And remove tree limbs from areas where it could be dangerous. You be careful too, with all that rain there could be flooding.
oh my goodness Sandy - that is my favourite song from the 90's - bahahahahah!
ReplyDeleteice-ice baby...vanilla ice-ice baby....
oh don't get me started. i can sing the whole song. and what's even funnier, is one day i translated it into french and learned how to sing it in french - it is hilarious in french.
oh but i digress and blather. sorry you have all of this ice...please be very careful and stay off the roads if you can. but the pictures are lovely...the ice looks like diamonds...and we all love diamonds! much love to you and yours hon! your friend,
kymber
Sweet Kymber,
DeleteIce Ice Baby.......I used to love that song too. OMG, this ages both of us, lol.
I would love to hear you sing Ice Ice Baby in french :-)
The ice is beautiful but dangerous. We removed several trees months ago, those we thought were problems. Well the trees we thought were okay, are now in a compromised situation. We will need to cut and destroy others.
All women love diamonds :-) The ice glistens and it all looks like diamonds. Can you imagine how rich one would be if this ice was real diamonds?
My family lives in Oklahoma and I'm very familiar with those ice storms. I even have been caught in some when visiting for the holidays. You did a great job capturing what Oklahoman's have to live with and why you need to be prepared for power outages. Thanks for the pictures!
ReplyDeleteMike,
DeleteYour family is in Oklahoma, what part?
Oklahoma is full of weather type surprises. All I can say is hold on, the weather is always changing here :-)
The ice is so beautiful, too bad it's also so dangerous!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of you, Sandy.
God's blessings-Kimberly
Kimberly,
DeleteIce is always beautiful, as long as you don't have to be out in it.
We are safe, warm, and relaxing this weekend. Thank you for your blessings.
Sending hugs to you and your husband.
Sandy
You have a gift with pictures. Looks like the squirrel "photo bombed" you. Stay warm, and Merry Christmas to you and yours..
ReplyDeleteIzzy,
DeleteThanks Izzy :-)
Yes, the squirrel photo bombed me, lol
Oklahoma has been getting a lot of that lately. I hope it warms up and gets rid of the ice soon.
ReplyDeleteHarry,
DeleteYes it has been getting a lot of ice. If it warms up, I think there will be trouble with this ice falling and hurting people.
Sandy,
ReplyDeleteParents when alive, now the oldest sister and oldest brother live in OK City. Younger sister when alive lived in Newkirk right on the boarder overlooking miles of grazing land in a beautiful 'A' frame house.
Mike,
DeleteThe big "O" wasn't as bad as down south of the city with ice.
Newkirk, I'm not familiar with this area. Living in a "A" frame house overlooking miles of grazing land sounds wonderful to me.
Oh, my!!!! I can how many lost power. We got lucky.
ReplyDeleteGail,
DeleteMany people here in lost power. I heard of the news all kinds lost it across the states. Yes, you were lucky.
