Typical small minds holding small positions thinking they can mess with people’s lives. The one in the wrong here are the school board officials!!!!!!!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves.
And how many little 'punks' go around dropping 'F' bombs all day long not getting their mouths washed out with soap at school. This is a bit overkill for the student having to go through such nonsense.
Sandy I couldn't upload the video, but I think I can guess what it's all about. Why is it all kinds of minorities have their right to freedom of speech, but any reference to Christian beliefs are considered offensive?
I'm sorry you're not able to load the video. Basically, it comes down to the school board stating they will not give this young lady her diploma because she used the word "HELL" in her speech. The school board wants a written apology before they will give her the diplomas she earned. It's not fair, I believe the school boards is wrong.
Well that's just ridiculous. Even if they told her ahead of time to not use curse words in her speech, I don't see how they have any right at all to retain her diploma. Agree with Harriet.

ReplyDeleteHarriet,
DeleteYou are so right! This young girl has a full scholarship that is being messed with now. The school board needs to give her the diploma.

ReplyDeleteMrs. Mac,
DeleteIt is major overkill! You're right about the "F" bombs and nothing is ever done about it.
This young lady worked hard for her grades, she deserves her diploma.

ReplyDeleteKris, I do too. It is totally ridiculous. If this were my child, I think I would be looking for an attorney.
DeleteKnock the best and the brightest into submission, and the others will toe the line.
