WOW! That's something we almost never get here so it's definitely pretty to see. I've lived in it, as a youngster and I still miss seeing it but as an adult, having to get out IN it and go to work, etc, not much fun, ha.
We always get snow. In the end we never really know how much we truly will get for the winter season until it happens. As I get older I love to see it but hate to be out in it.
I'm staying warm and we will be safe this winter......I wonder what spring will bring.....tornadoes or not??
White Christmas was close, I'm okay with snow after Christmas. Now hurry up and melt, lol........
I love the sunrises and sets here out on the plains. BD Man is out hunting as I type my response to you. Hopefully, he will come home with a deer :-) I hope you, Senior, and your Boys have a wonderful New Year! Sending love to you and your family, Sandy
Yes Ma'am, the weather has been strange for months now. No snow for you, maybe that's a sign?? Maybe you'll be able to start planting your garden earlier this year??
Snowed here too but never really stuck just made everything wetter. Was too warm but it is cooling off some now.
ReplyDeletePP,
DeleteThis morning the snow is melting, just in time for temperatures to drop and black ice. Were expecting more snow Wednesday/Thursday time frame.

Strange weather! Five-six hours south of us in the long state of Minnesota, they had a good amount of snow but for us here in the north? Still nada!

That's good weather for the time of year, as long as it snows in moderation.
ReplyDeleteHarry,
DeleteAmen!!! Moderation is the key word :-)
Did you get any snow??
It's always so pretty when it first falls!
ReplyDeleteLeigh,
DeleteIt sure is gorgeous when it first falls, then the critters and family walk all over it and then it's no long pretty. More like white mud!!!
It looks so beautiful on the trees and shrubs, Sandy!
ReplyDeleteNot much snow here yet, either, but the Farmer's Almanac insists that "much worse" is still to come. At this point, we're ready; bring it on!
ReplyDeleteIt snowed here, oh some thirty odd years ago. I miss it.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful at your place. Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteOur snow came early, stayed a day and disappeared. I'm hoping that is the winter of '14.
