It got down right cold, wet, icy, and windy. Then the wind calmed down, the News people
kept saying expect snow…………………… it snowed very little. Not enough to even talk about.
We stayed home, kept warm and safe. Tomorrow we will venture out.
This storm is moving east, ya’ll be careful, and
stay warm.
It's just cold here no precipitation yet! My girls want school to be cancelled lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteIt may just be tomorrow morning. Church was closed today for us.
Even cold here in the SE but not too bad. I welcome the seasonal change & happy to have a cool'er' Thanksgiving. Hope your's is a good one!
ReplyDeleteDFW,
DeleteI hear everyone's going to experience some of this store across the U.S., through to the East Coast. Stay Warm, and enjoy your Thanksgiving :-) Thanks for the Thanksgiving wish.
A very cold wind has blown all day. We are supposed to be in the 30's but real feel is 20!...I've got to go milk in a few minutes :( at least there is not ice hanging from the eaves.
ReplyDeleteStay warm my friend!
Mamma Bear,
DeleteCold wind is what we had yesterday. Wear something warm when going to milk. Thank God for no ice on your eaves :-)
We're nice and warm, and not venturing out until tomorrow morning, when the guys have to go to work.
sweet Sandy - the way the ice is hanging on the tree branches, leaves and berries - whenever that happens here, it is called "silver thaw". it normally happens in late february/march and the trees hang over the roads and it is quite pretty. but to be happening in november - OH NO WAY JOSE! WAAAAY tooo soon! that storm of yours is moving up the east coast seaboard...and we are feeling some of it's effects tonight and for the next few days. today was a lot colder than normal and we had some gusty winds. it looks like it will die back tomorrow but the cold will stay for a bit. then we are back to more normal temps. is this normal for your time of year? we don't normally get any serious frosts until late december. i am glad that you stayed home and kept warm - can't think of anything better to do on a cold kind of weekend!
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
kymber
Sweet Kymber,
DeleteThe silver thaw is pretty but I really don't like to much ice because these people here in Oklahoma don't know how to drive on it.
The weather has been totally freaky this year, I'm hoping Spring comes soon, lol.......
Stay warm and be safe.
Your Friend,
Sandy
Stay safe, folks. I dislike icy conditions more than any other, and for cause.
ReplyDeleteRev. Paul,
DeleteYes Sir!!!! I have to say, I dislike icy conditions too.
We have people who don't know how to drive in ice, rain, or snow here.
Really nice photos of the ice! Yes it is cold, cold, cold here too I am just thankful we didn't get the snow with it.
DeleteMichaele,
DeleteWe had 15 minutes of snow, then it disappeared. The ice stayed.
Hey Sandy,
ReplyDeleteWow girl. Ya'll really got some weather! Funny, but even as close as we are to you guys we didn't get anything even close to that. The steps had a thin layer of ice that when stepped on just sorta vanished. Of course that's just fine with me!
Hugs to all Ya'll,
Sci
SCI,
DeleteYes we did get some weather. Even though we are only about 2 hours apart from one another, your weather is always different than ours.
I would rather a thin layer of ice.......I'll trade you :-)
Stay warm, sending hugs to you both.
Sandy
Looks frigid. Burrrrrr
ReplyDeletePP,
DeleteToday's warm 26, it's cold, need to crank up the heat!!!
Been watching all that on the news. They of course cover Texas and show Oklahoma as well. We're expecting sleet, but no accumulation. Y'all stay safe and warm!!!!
ReplyDelete1st Man,
DeleteYou both stay safe and warm there, this weather is so unpredictable.
Don't forget to cover your garden beds. I think winter is here our temperatures are staying low.
Looks like we're gonna get what you got. Hope you're still snug & warm.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn,
DeleteI'm sorry, didn't mean to ship the weather your way!!!! Actually, be careful, stay warm and snug too. Have you figured out what to do with your goose?
