Mystic Mud
sponsored a give-away for a First Aid kit.
I learned this morning my name was drawn as the winner in her give-away. I’m so happy I won this First Aid kit; I needed
one for my kitchen.
*****Tonight, I prepared an easy meal, salad! I couldn’t help myself, I added goat cheese, cranberries, orange pieces, raspberries, pancetta, carrots, lettuce, and topped the salad off with balsamic vinaigrette.
What’s cooking or not cooking at your
place?
The salad looks great! I got stuck with McDonalds. I'll trade ya!
ReplyDeleteI will offer you a bowl of salad, but I can't trade you!
DeleteOoooo, we had a homemade taco salad tonight, but it was dull in comparison to yours!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn,
DeleteYour too sweet, taco salad is just a delicious :-)
My down fall, goat cheese (coated with cranberries and orange rind).
Wow - that salad looks sooooo yummy!!
ReplyDeleteIt was delicious and I didn't have to cook :-)
DeleteMy kinda salad! Gone are the days of plain and lonely iceberg lettuce with a hint of carrot and half of a tomato.
ReplyDeleteI love unique salads. I try to stay away from iceberg lettuce, there are no nutrients in the stuff.
DeleteYummy salad!...Congrats on the win...I saw it on MM's blog but I did not need a first aid kit. So many of the blogs are doing giveaways...I am going to have one when I collect my first honey from the bees!
ReplyDeleteI did some concoction for supper. Browned a small roll of sausage with chopped up green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Drain fat and then scramble in a dozen eggs (made leftovers to roll up in tortilla's) then added a pile of mozzarella cheese. Yep...mozzarella.. I ran out of cheddar the last time I did this and found I liked Mozzarella much better with eggs!
Thank you so much :-)
DeleteUsing mozzarella cheese in your eggs is much better than cheddar. The cheese give the eggs are really good flavor.
Now that looks like what I should be eating! I love these kind of salads. We had a white lasagna with spinach and lots of garlic and some mushrooms, with green salad on the side.
ReplyDeleteHey Susie,
DeleteYum lasagna, now that's what I love to have :-)
I love salads that have all the little parts & pieces left over at the bottom when you are finished w/the lettuce. This looks like that kind of salad. Would have to have a slice of bread (hopefully homemade) to 'sop' up all that goodness.
ReplyDeleteI would have made bread but I was being a little lazy this day. That's why I didn't cook, I just made a salad :-)
DeleteWow, that salad looks good. I am so ready to plant my spring garden! Love all the giveaways too.
ReplyDeleteLeigh,
DeleteThe salad was really good. I'm antsy and can't wait to plant in the garden myself.
You need to register for the give-aways!!!
Looks wonderful, so refreshing! We had venison roast, rice and gravy. BTW I LOVE your new header!
ReplyDeleteVenison roast rice and gravy sounds divine!
DeleteThank you, you we're the first person who said anything about my header. I was just curious how it looked, thank you for responding.
Hubby is cooking and I, HELP, am cleaning up after him.
ReplyDeleteI love it when a man cooks, and don't mind cleaning up afterwards.
