HOT.. HOT... HOT

Talk about hot!  The temperature read 116.2 outside on my front porch.  That was before I could take a picture, now that I’ve taken the picture its 115.2 degrees at 4:08PM.  The inside of my truck registered 123 degrees, its cooler in the house where its 75.4 degrees.

How hot was it today where you live?

  2. oh poor Sweet Sandy - THAT is just waaaay toooo hot for me! we are having normal, warm July days of mid 20'sC (which is high 70'sF). it has been very nice weather so far this summer. it gets hotter in August (30's C and 80's F), but that is as hot as it normally gets. i can't even imagine 123 degrees - that's craziness!

please stay cool and only do yard work in the early morn and after the sun sets.

    your friend,
    kymber

I would love the temperatures you have :-)
Agreed, no yard work unless it's early in the morning or when the sun is going down. In fact, today......there will be no work outside :-).....I may even take a nap!!

  5. You're lucking your house is a cool temperature. "back home" with good insulation, I always stayed cool inside (68) for cheap. Now, w/o insulation, any indoor temp lower than 78 guarantees a $300 electric bill.

    1. Lotta Joy,

The inside of the house is comfortable, the electric bill won't be too bad.
Now if I was living back at the old place, it would be more like $400 - $500 dollars.

  6. Our temp was supposed to be 82 today. I didn't check .. but it felt about low 80's. And the humidity has dropped .. which is good. Hope you get that rain you need. And soon.
